Broccoli Salad is a quick summer salad full of fresh, crispy broccoli, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds and bacon bits. It is tossed with a creamy homemade dressing.
Since it’s best to prepare it ahead of time (and everyone is enthusiastic about this recipe), it’s the perfect dish for a potluck meal, perfect for any meeting or barbecue.
My family LOVES vegetables, so I always serve fresh salads, and this broccoli salad is one of our favourites!
It’s incredibly easy to prepare
Since it is best to do this in advance, it is perfect for potlucks and barbecues.
It’s always a great success and I never end up with leftovers!
Ingredients
2 x 12 oz. bags of raw broccoli
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 cup grated mild cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped cooked bacon (bites of bacon can be used)
1 cup creamy coleslaw I use Kraft brand
Itinerary
Here’s the super easy part, in a large bowl mix all the ingredients, mix well and put in the fridge for 2 hours and you’re done! The best thing about this easy broccoli salad is that you can add more vinaigrette, more cheese, and so on.
This salad is served to 4-6 people. Enjoy it!
