Ingredients for Chicken Noodle Soup:

Use chicken thighs: The secret to super tender chicken without overcooking time is in using chicken thighs! You can use boneless or bone-in chicken.

Use high quality broth: Homemade chicken broth will give you the richest flavour, but you can use commercially available low sodium chicken broth.

Use oil, not butter: Butter solidifies in soup when refrigerated.

How to make Chicken Noodle Soup :

Classic chicken noodle soup can take hours and hours to cook, but it takes about 30 minutes and certainly doesn’t lack flavour. Using high quality chicken broth and chicken thighs gives the soup wonderful flavour without the long cooking time.

1 can of cream of chicken

1 can of cream of celery

1 can of chicken broth

1/2 bag of noodles

4 tablespoons of butter

1 1/2 teaspoons sage

1 1/2 teaspoons marjoram

1 1/2 teaspoons of thyme

3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

1/2 large white onion, chopped

2 large cans of chicken

1/2 cup peas and carrots

Salt and pepper at will.

Melt the butter in a frying pan, then add the garlic and onion.

Maintain the heat at a medium to high temperature. Once it has become translucent, add the carrots and peas.

Once heated, add the chicken and all the wet ingredients.

Then add the spices, stirring completely. Add the noodles and heat until the noodles are cooked through.

Serve hot.
