Coconut Cream Dessert


We bet you’ve never had coconut cream like this before. This fresh and creamy coconut dessert will totally impress your guests when you serve it. From the crispy pecan crust to the velvety cream cheese and pudding filling, everything is delicious. And it’s also the easiest dessert to make for a party.
We love tiered desserts like this because they allow so many wonderful flavours to be combined. And we also love how easy it is to cut them into squares to distribute to guests or family members. It’s easy to make and full of flavor, which is exactly the kind of treat we like.

INGREDIENTS

4 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
2 cups of milk
2 packets of instant pudding mix, coconut cream flavoured
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup pecans, finely chopped and divided
1 package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, melted

PREPARATION

Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, 1/2 cup pecans and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and bake for 15 minutes. When finished baking, place in refrigerator to cool completely.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in 1 cup of the whipped topping. Spread evenly over cooled crust. Return to refrigerator to cool while making the next layer.
In a medium bowl, mix pudding mix and milk. Spread over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until set.
Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer and sprinkle with the remaining chopped pecans. Enjoy!
