Is there anything better in life than a freshly-baked pan of warm homemade cinnamon rolls?
Actually, yes — homemade cinnamon rolls that can be ready to go in just 1 hour! ♡
We’re talkin’ bakery-style cinnamon rolls made with the softest, chewiest, lightly-golden dough, an irresistible buttery cinnamon-sugar swirl filling, and your choice of icing (either traditional or cream cheese icing, you pick!) generously drizzled on top. They are surprisingly easy to make and guaranteed to fill your home with the yummiest, coziest, hygge-ist vibes as they bake. And once that warm pan emerges from the oven, everyone who has tried these cinnamon rolls agrees that they are downright irresistible.
So this weekend, I thought I would bump this cinnamon roll recipe back to the top of the site since it seems like we could also use some extra comfort food in our lives right now. If you’re new to working with yeast and homemade dough, please don’t be intimidated at all! I promise to walk you through each step of the process with clear instructions, and we also have a step-by-step video to give you a visual. I’ve also updated the recipe below with options to either make the dough either by hand or use the help of a stand mixer. Plus I’ve included two different icing options so that you can choose your favorite!

I just made these cinnamon rolls and WOW are they good! 24 rolls done and ready to share with family!
Thank you for the recipe.
There is only two of us. How can I make a small batch?
Is the T for a teaspoon or tablespoon? My mom always told me capital T was for tablespoon and a lower t for teaspoon?
That is also what I learned ~~ Go with it!
10 cups of flour? Is that right?
I found this recipe in 2015. I’ve made these countless times. Since finding this recipe I’ve never looked for another.
It makes two Half sheets of big soft chewy rolls. If I get invited to a party I bring along Cinnamon Rolls and they go fast.
You will not be disappointed with this recipe
Can you freeze these in cooked? Thank you
Can you freeze these uncooked?
I halved this recipe and the dough was very slick. It was hard to roll and cut. I threw the whole batch away. Any idea what I did wrong?
what is considered a cube of butter?. When I googles it came up with 1/4 to a half to a whole stick of better. it depends if I’m on West coast or East coast.
Thank you
Sheila

These Cinnamon Rolls are amazing, I have been trying to find a good dough recipe where they don’t turn out tough. The dough on these are amazing light and fluffy so Happy to find this. Question
For the icing – How much is a cube of butter and how much milk, no instructions for the icing provided?
