1 – 16 oz jar(s) unsalted peanuts
1 – 16 oz. jar(s) salted peanuts
1 – 12 oz bag(s) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 – 12 oz bag(s) milk chocolate chips
2 – 10 oz bag(s) peanut butter chips
2 – 1 lb pkg white almond bark or vanilla candy coating
How to Make It
1 Layer all ingredients in a large crockpot (starting with peanuts). Turn the pot on low, cover with lid, and leave sitting for 2 hours. Then, remove lid and stir to combine. Replace lid and leave sitting for another 30 minutes. Stir again and then spoon mixture on to wax paper or non-stick aluminum foil. Allow to harden for at least 1 hour. Enjoy!
I’m getting ready to make this for Valentine’s Day… it’s so cute and yummy looking! I couldn’t find the vanilla bark so I bought vanilla chips but only one bag. Will this work ?
Thank you!
Thank you Barbara. This is not a newly discovered recipe. Lol. I too have been using it for years. Plus for all the new comers, they have to join in order to get the full recipe. I don’t like to join blogs on someone else’s apron strings. Have a great evening and a safe Halloween.
I want to do them faster, so I use or make a double boiler and they are ready to drop on parchment in a few minutes. I melt all chocolate and then add nuts, either peanuts or pecans, I like toasted salted pecans better.
Question-you cook on low for 2 hours. Then stir. Do you then keep crockpot on low for 30 minutes or do you just let it sit in the crockpot (while OFF) for the 30 minutes? Thank you.
Really good and easy to make. I use to make them every Christmas along with other goodies and hand out to friends and neighbors, did this for several years but not able to do it anymore. I sure miss my goodies and seeing happy faces when I passed them out.
I know I saw this question asked but can you use mini cupcake liners and will the candy stick to them. Please let me know before I make this recipe. Thank you
Everything looks great. Can’t wait to try them
I have made these several times. They are delicious, always get rave reviews. I recommend them, so easy to make. They make a lot.
I made this one year and, yes, it makes bunches! Is delicious.

Haha I need to know by Sunday
Need 1 pound of whatever you use as substitute.
Can you make half the recipe!????
Yes you can cut the recipe in half…I’ve done it several times and it works out great
Do you have a recipe for raisins?
Do you have a receipt for raisin. Thank you
This is a copy of a very popular crockpot candy recipe that I have used for years. Check out Mr. Bud Crockpot Candy. It is so much better than this!

These little paper things you have them in on the picture. It’s paper right ? So is that ok. They will not stick to them ?
No, they will peel off.

What a great idea! Thank you for sharing!! I think I’ll try your quick method!
Great candy!! I’ve made and helped me out one year…didn’t have enough cookies so I add the candy…big hit!!
Add some raisins or coconut
I could not get the ingredients and directions to show on my Facebook page
.
Can’t wait to try them…
Do you have to use the almond bark? I feel it gives it a fake taste 🤷🏻♀️

Looks like you leave it ON the whole time, or you wouldn’t be able to stir it the final time.
I’m gonna try it – of course – I believe my friend!🤩
I made these n they are so good. Makes a lot. I was able to freeze some, n pass some out to my neighbors

How long will these keep for?
Thinking of making a batch and putting them in a kiln jar.
I put mine in the freezer. I still have some I made last December.
How many will the full recipe make?
I just made recipe and threw it out. If u follow the recipe it will burn
I’m going to try this but substitute hazel nuts and pecans. I’m not crazy about peanuts.
How do I store these. in or out of refrigerator?
Yes how do you store them? Did anyone else have trouble with them burning? Am going to try them and don’t want them to burn. Please let me know.
