HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLL CAKE
Are you one of those people whose eyes fixate on a recipe that contains more than 5 ingredients? You completely lose interest and move on to the next one. Yes, I know the feeling. It’s a bit like how I felt when I first saw this cinnamon roll cake recipe. But then I heard all the great reviews everyone was giving it and I knew I had to make it!
CAN I REPLACE IT WITH A CANNED CAKE MIX?
Yes, you can. You can use vanilla cake mix, then make the cinnamon roll filling and rotate it. Then continue with the rest of the baking instructions. I think a canned white and yellow pecan butter cake mix would work just as well.
Ingredients :
Cake:
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tbsp. sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 tbsp. butter, melted
Topping :
1 tbsp. butter, softened
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Itinerary :
Mix everything together except the butter. Slowly stir in the melted butter and pour into a greased 9×13 pan. For the filling, mix all the ingredients until well blended. Place them evenly on the dough and swirl with a knife. Bake at 350 for 28-32 minutes.
Glaze :
2 c. powdered sugar
5 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
While the heat drizzles the icing on the cake
Is the amount of flour right?
I’d say that it would be 3 cups of Flour not 3 TBSP ??
this recipe is not right… way off on flour and sugar.
