My mom has been making this chocolate dessert, commonly known as chocolate delight, for years. It’s a popular choice for birthdays and other special occasions. A good dessert can turn an ordinary gathering into something extraordinary. And this chocolate pudding layer cake is so good! This irresistible and very easy to make dessert is sure to please everyone, adults and children alike.
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1⁄2 cup margarine (softened)
1 (8 ounces) cream cheese (softened)
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 1⁄2 cups whipped cream (Cool Whip)
2 packages (4 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
3 cups milk
*Combine flour, chopped pecans and margarine. Press into a baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
*Combine cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar and whipped cream. Spread mixture over cooled crust and set aside.
*Mix instant pudding with milk. Pour this mixture over the cream cheese mixture. Top with cool whip (as much as you like) and some chopped pecans.
