LOW CARBOHYDRATE SOUP FOR WEIGHT LOSS

Foods such as kale, spinach and cabbage are leafy green vegetables that are low in calories as well as carbohydrates. I like to add spinach to my eggs in the morning for a quick, low carbohydrate, nutritious breakfast, and a vegetable soup like this cabbage soup is no different.

Ingredients
5 carrots, chopped
3 onions, chopped
2 cans of whole peeled tomatoes with liquid 1 large head cabbage, chopped
1 (1 ounce) envelope of dry onion soup mix
1 (15 ounces) can cut green beans, drained
2 liters of tomato juice
2 green peppers, diced
10 celery stalks, chopped 1 can of beef broth (14 ounces)
Itinerary
Place carrots, onions, tomatoes, cabbage, green beans, peppers and celery in a large saucepan. Add the onion soup mixture, tomato juice, beef broth and enough water to cover the vegetables. Simmer until the vegetables are tender. Can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.

Is this good for someone on keto
I met with a dietitian to help with my husbands diabetic needs and raw cup of most vegetables for instance raw is 10 carbs per cup and cooked releases something that causes the carb count to double. It’s been a real learning experience. He has lost 80 pounds.
