Two 12-oz bags frozen mixed berries
1 box white cake mix (no pudding)
1 can of diet 7-up or sierra mist (clear soda)
Place frozen fruit in a 9×13 baking dish. Add dry cake mix over the top. Pour soda slowly over cake mix. DO NOT stir the cake mix and the pop – this will give you a ‘crust’. If you stir the two, you will hsve a cake like topping.
Bake 350 for 45-50 min.
You may be able to use frozen peaches instead of mixed berries.
I am a huge fan of cobbler but I’m always a huge fan of easy and the two don’t always go hand in hand. When I saw a recipe similar to the one I am sharing today in a magazine I knew I wanted to try it. Of course, I didn’t have a pen so I couldn’t write the recipe down but I figured I could recreate it easy enough. This turned out so yummy! The original recipe called for frozen cherries but I used frozen mixed berries instead. I highly recommend this recipe!
Have you tried this with other frozen fruits, blueberries, peaches etc?
Do you spray the pan with cooking spray ?
I love it and am making one now. I have never found anything else that is this easy.
I love it. This is the 3rd I have made.% e
