Black Forest Dump Cake

The cake is an easy thing to love. It’s even easier when the cake is so easy to make that you don’t even need a mixing bowl! This cake is perhaps the easiest cake recipe in the world, and there’s no harm in making it taste as delicious. It’s full of sweet, juicy cherries and a rich chocolate flavor. It’s perfect with a scoop of ice cream and a pinch of sliced almonds for crunch. This Black Forest cake is simple to make, and so delicious that no one would ever guess how little time you spend in the kitchen.

This cake is full of flavour, but there’s not much more to do than throw a few things into a baking dish. You start by spreading a can of cherry pie filling and a can of pitted cherries, then cover it with a can of cake mix (just pour the powdered mixture over it… you don’t even have to mix anything in first). Then just cover it with butter and sliced almonds and put it in the oven. During baking, the juice and butter mix with the dry mixture to form a tender, chocolatey cake. It’s like magic!

This was great I customized it with maraschino cherries instead of dark which helped with the moisture and cooking. I drained the juice and poured it over the cake mix before adding the butter. Also, heated can of dark choc icinge in micro for 1 min stirred and poured over as well. This is a very rich cake but very delicious!
