Polish sausage, Sauerkraut and potatoes ( CROCKPOT )

Winter has clearly arrived. It is in full force here and I think the peak today is around five degrees Fahrenheit. You can never have enough good crock pot recipes for days like this. The recipe for Sauerkraut and Potato Slow Cooker Sausage is a two-step recipe because the sausage must be added to the slow cooker after about three hours or it will cook too long and dry out. This delicious, easy recipe combines smoked chicken sausage, potatoes, onions, carrots and sauerkraut in a sweet chicken broth with mustard and honey. Sweetness cooks in it all day long. It’s the perfect winter meal that’s full of hearty goodness for you.
Have you tried my other slow cooker recipes? Beef stew for two, roast beef and vegetables and pork and noodles are some of the favourite recipes of friends and family. This Enchilada Chicken Soup Enchilada from the Spend with Pennies slow cooker is delicious! We also love this turkey chili slow cooker from Baking Beauty.
